Painter Practice

I figure it was about time I really started to use my tablet since I really do like it and there is no clean up :p

Of course the practice piece was either going to be a bird or a dragon, so went with a very simple dragon. This still needs a lot of work but its looking OK at this moment. Time will tell if I mess it up too much, but their is always ctrl-z for mistakes. I figure start simple and go from there, its going to look amateurish at first but hopefully I get better :)

    Better then anything I've tried to make on my tablet. I just use mine to make lineart now :D
    So glad you picked dragon :)

Summer of Colour #3

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
