Barn Owl #2

Barn Owl progress. Not sure whether or not to darken the eye area and the shading or leave it for the moment. Don't want to go too dark right now, but it was looking really odd without any shading so needed to add some. I think the eye itself is dark enough but the area around it could maybe go darker. Probably just leave it until more is done. Really liking how this is looking at this stage. :)

I do know I need to add more shading to the beak, looks a little odd here with the angle it is at, more shading should help that.

I'm really liking this, too - especially the way you cropped it. Seeing it finished will be worth the wait.

Hi Jennifer,
You had me with the eyes and you've still got me with this one.
Have a good week, as best you can.
Sincerely,
Gary.
