365 Sketches #76

Don't think I have drawn a mouse before. This is the second one of the year. I kill mice, usually by my hand violently twitching and slamming it on the desk or dropping them. I've save the last on so I can try to paint a design on it when I get time. Hopefully this one lasts a while yet, but if it does die, it going to get painted too. I thought i would try to paint a dragons head on one of course :)

  1. I am slow...I blinked and thought, oh no...it cannot be, and of course it wasn't.
You don't violently slam a twitching mouse...life one. it is the darn computer thingy. But honest, I thought the head and tail were missing and that was an ear along the bottom! on drawing. teach me to look more carefully!

    1. well to be honest I did own snakes that needed to be fed mice, so did have to kill them to feed the snakes since it can be dangerous to the snake to feed it an alive mouse/rat. not pretty for some people to deal with, but the snake needs to eat.

  2. I did a double take for a second or two because, at first, I thought you violently slammed real mice against desks. I then realised you meant computer mice. Phew! I seem to pretty luck with computer mice. hehe Good sketch!

  3. Good to know that 'dead mice' don't get wasted (pardon the pun) ... We used to do a lot of tenpin bowling and when our bowling balls were past their best I painted them with Hammerite and stuck them in the garden as ornaments! I'm all for recycling!

    1. thats a really good idea for the bowling balls! I didn't even know they got to the point you can't use them, but it makes sense with all the knocking over pins :)
