Dragon Smoke Finished
Started to colour in the background and the dragon. Went with the classic green dragon and a red background just for contrast.
Added some fins? Back scales? What ever you want to call them to it. I tend to still leave digital paintings sketchy since I like the look.
Changed the background to black with one click because I thought the green stood out more against it.
The dragon finished after adding some smoke and a bit of fire since it looked odd with just the smoke.

Am I correct in reading this is a digital painting? Really cannot tell. I enjoyed seeing the steps and I can see the advantage of being able to change the background with one click.
ReplyDeleteI think the addition of the flames gives more interest - good call.
yep digital painting done in coral painter. the program does a good job simulating art mediums
