Eagle Close Up

This isn't finished, still needs more work to define and highlight the feathers and add some little details to the beak area, that probably wont show up unless you zoom in really close to them.

A close up of the eye area. It has the texture of an oil brush but up close is clearly digital. Not sure how I am going to crop this, possibly like the first photo or I might make it a square crop.

I love this. It is a gorgeous painting. I think the square cropping is nice for the eagle. But, maybe a little lager.

Wow that is spectacular Jennifer. So majestic!
You must be thrilled with this. I think go large would be fantastic. He deserves to be the main feature wherever he resides.
Enjoy your Friday!

WOW! Gorgeous! I like the idea of giving him (or her) room to hunt like in the top crop, and yet...the bottom really makes the bird more powerful and impressive. Okay, can't decide! But what a great digital painting!
