Stone Elephant


Another work for the Virtual Paintout. This time a stone elephant from one of the many temples in Cambodia. This was going to be just gouache but then it looked too abstract and needed a bit of detail, so grabbed the conte from under the futon to try to make it look less like a grey and green blob lol

I've never thought of trying an elephant! But then , I've never tried our local deer, either! Well done!
