365 Sketch #195

Don't think I've drawn one of the house phones before. Meant to sketch the stereo in my car, but its in the garage while John puts new shocks on it because it needed them desperately. Handy having someone who can work on the car, saves paying a mechanic lol

    Jennifer you are so talented in sketching ordinary things like the shoe in a previous post and this phone. Great job. It reminds me of the sketches of Tracey. Lucky you to have someone so handy with fixing things!

      thank you Faye :) Its pretty handy having him around :p being an ex electrician is helpful too when light fixtures need changed lol

Summer of Colour #3

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
