Lets Get Drunk

Well not really but here are two lable designs for uni. And my arm is is agony after spending less than 2 hours yesterday on this and a few other designs. Obvs my arm is still messed up, so no idea what I am actually going to do for uni because it seems that I can't work more than 20 minutes before my arm starts screaming in pain and that is after taking enough pain killers to knock a horse over.

So the question is which of these do you prefer? White or blue?

  1. Oh no, I am so sorry you're in pain. Is there any way your professors could give you more time with the deadlines so that your arm can heal? These look great. I like the blue, but I do have a blue leaning bias...

  2. These are good! Hard to pick but I do find myself drawn to the blue one more. Sorry for my previous confused comments re. your arm...it's been a week or so since I've been to your blog. So sorry that your right arm is still in so much pain. I think you may have to end up getting the surgery.

  3. Congratulations, the lable designs look great. I like the blue version best, because I like the way it contrasts against the orangy liquor. Hope your arm heals soon!

  4. BLUE - richer!
Sorry about your pain...a real bummer.

  5. It's inspiring how you carry on Jen! I like the blue, but could you make the lettering white? It is hard to read the blue letters, but the logo looks good in blue. (That may be ridiculously hard to ask - I have no idea, your skills are way beyond mine.)

Hope today is a better day.

  6. I think the blue stands out but the letters need some white to be more easily readable (agree with Rose's assessment). I am so sorry you are in such pain. I am so glad I am no longer in classes. Dreamed I was in a class and had skipped a required paper and then missed the next paper assignment and was rushing to do it all before finals! ha ha. Guess we all have that fear of failure and it returns to school days a lot when we were finding our way around as young adults. I hope something can be done with the problem - does your doctor know what's causing the pain?

  7. Lisa, I'm not sure what can be done about the deadlines, one of the health and safety officers did say to not really worry about it but kind of hard not to lol :) 1 for blue :)

thanks Serena :) another for blue :)np about my arm confusion :) dont want surgery of course but if it helps I'd do it

thanks Arnoldo :) another for blue

Julie, so 4 for blue so far :)

Rose, its actually pretty easy to change the text colour, you click on it and then pick a colour :) Illustrator is one of the easier programs to make changes with

Rhonda, and thats 6 for blue :) I think its def a common fear for people to miss important papers/exams for school, its a horrible panicky feeling:/. the drs say it tendon and nerve damage but at this point I think they might be just guessing lol

  8. I prefer the white one, but i would definitely drink both! Haven't read down far enough to know what happened to your arm. I remember breaking my left dominant wrist and had to switch drawing to my right hand. So now I draw with my left but use my right hand on the mouse to paint with or draw digitally. I wouldn't even know how to do it with my left - it would feel weird. Anyway, i hope whatever it is with your arm heals up quick. You did a great job on these.
