Scribble Picnic- Lady Bug

This weeks Scribble Picnic theme is lady bug/lady bird so I just made up a cute confused looking lady bug for this week.

When ever I think of lady bugs I think of Asian beetles because I remember one year in Ontario where the house was invaded by them and they bite. You think they are innocent lady bugs and go to get it out of the house and then it bites you :/

Of course I made up a simple pattern of the bugs together.

  5. Well the Asian bugs do bite and it is very hard to tell them apart ... but, this little ladybug is a cutie and I would let her in my house any day ... even her group would be welcome :)

  8. It would sure make a cute color book page. My grandson likes to color bugs...haha

The brightness of the red against the black is very nice. We are all a bit confused at times.

  9. We've had ladybugs in our house (usually in the autumn) and I always leave them alone but I have picked them up and never had one bite me - didn't know they would bite but it makes sense (they have to eat, right?). I like your bright ladybugs.

  11. Great contribution to Scribble Picnic! Very creative!
We had an invasion of those nasty Asian beetles that bite in Michigan one year. They get ya when you least expect it.
