Scribble Picnic- Lady Bug
This weeks Scribble Picnic theme is lady bug/lady bird so I just made up a cute confused looking lady bug for this week.
When ever I think of lady bugs I think of Asian beetles because I remember one year in Ontario where the house was invaded by them and they bite. You think they are innocent lady bugs and go to get it out of the house and then it bites you :/
Of course I made up a simple pattern of the bugs together.
this reminds me of a bus, but cute, why is it confused? no matter. good take on the theme.
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day.
Those are so cute! They definitely look a bit baffled...
ReplyDeleteNice take on the theme, Jennifer. Yes, she does look a little confused but cute nonetheless. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice work, they don't sound so cute to know they bite!
ReplyDeleteWell the Asian bugs do bite and it is very hard to tell them apart ... but, this little ladybug is a cutie and I would let her in my house any day ... even her group would be welcome :)

Wonderful art creation of lady bugs! ^_^
ReplyDeleteSo cute. The colors are just right and I love the expression on it's face.
ReplyDeleteIt would sure make a cute color book page. My grandson likes to color bugs...haha
ReplyDeleteThe brightness of the red against the black is very nice. We are all a bit confused at times.
We've had ladybugs in our house (usually in the autumn) and I always leave them alone but I have picked them up and never had one bite me - didn't know they would bite but it makes sense (they have to eat, right?). I like your bright ladybugs.
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I love how changing the eyes makes a good expression.
ReplyDeleteI read about the Asian beetles biting, no fun.
Great contribution to Scribble Picnic! Very creative!
ReplyDeleteWe had an invasion of those nasty Asian beetles that bite in Michigan one year. They get ya when you least expect it.
So some ladybugs actually bite? Whaaa? That change everything. Wowza. too funny, jennifer.
ReplyDeleteYes, this bug look somewhat confused, but in the most cute way possible. Well done!

Your ladybugs are so cute. I think they would make great stickers!
ReplyDeleteWe call them ladybirds and they tickle when they walk on you. I love the pattern, it would make fabulous material.
