I love them too, used to catch them when I was little, but the 'pee' on you, and you can't wash the smell off, something that didn't bother me so much at 10 years old.<br />Ontario has lovely black rat snakes that cling to trees and you've reminded me about the time I rescued one that was hanging over our campfire (warming?). When I pulled him off, I guess my arm was warm, and wrapped around that. Yep, I like snakes too. Wouldn't want to deal with the dead rats though.<br />PS.
