If you startle it, the echidna will tuck it's head and feet under and make itself into a ball (of spikes). Later it unrolls again when it thinks the coast is clear, and just toddles off.Sandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14745461473020323155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30774035.post-24681240492482946142011-03-16T07:07:32.775+00:002011-03-16T07:07:32.775+00:00Ha, I've seen this one in real! They are quite slow and ponderous in the day time, they like the cool, but they are very compact. I think they are perfectly normal looking, but that's because we see them often in the bush, and even at a friend's house!!2pawhttp://cindy2paw.typepad.com/2paw/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30774035.post-43265136607550255472011-03-15T19:31:11.961+00:002011-03-15T19:31:11.961+00:00He/She looks like a brush.He/She looks like a brush.Perpetual Chocoholichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11536475843763405457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30774035.post-86148295856337472932011-03-15T18:27:15.665+00:002011-03-15T18:27:15.665+00:00Hi ,
