The Drowned World by J.G. Ballard My rating: 3 of 5 stars Definitely a book that fits the cozy catastrophe trope. Pretty flat characters, they just exist and seem pretty OK with what has happened to the Earth (the flooding, extremely high temperatures etc). It wasn't a bad book, but it wasn't the greatest either, it just is *shrug* Near the end I was hoping someone was going to get eaten by a crocodile.
