March Meet the Maker Update #3

Image
The last post for March meet the maker with a few of the images I took for it. I did miss 3 days trying to get a project done that was due on Thursday but I have managed to post for it most of the days when I didn't have too much uni work to do. Day 22 sketchbook and lists    This is less then half the sketchbooks I have at the moment πŸ˜‘πŸ˜œ Day 28 organised Does this look organised? πŸ˜› Day 30 advice Too many artists/makers compare themselves to other artist/makers. Worst thing to do as we all have different skills and are at different levels of work

She still tries to chase her tail today lol Been so busy with uni this week, I don't even know what day it is but can now sleep sleep in for the next 3 weeks since we are on Easter break. I still have 1.5 projects to finish but have planty of time left to get them done and then uni is over.

Jackalope Update #14

Pretty much finished the fur on the head and the rest on the body should be easier and quicker to finish as the fur bunches are not tiny like they were on the head. I should have had this done already but I am only getting a few minutes at a time to work on it because I have a uni project that is due this week and I need to concentrate on that.

This was 7 years ago and Sky would spin around like this when ever a car went by. She didn't grow out of it until a few years ago actually and stopped when we started taking her for walks off leash. She never went off the pavement thankfully, just spin around so fast you think she would be dizzy lol

March Meet the Maker Update

Still posting photos for this over on Instagram and these have been a few of my favourite photos for it so  far :) day5 photography 😊 I usually just use my phone for photos because I usually always have it but we do have an older DSLR and older film cameras to use but where can you still get film developed? πŸ˜› need a dark room. I did take photography in high school and college so do know how to develop the film. Advantage of digital tho is there isn't a problem of paying to develop 1000s of pictures of the dog day6 workspace 😊 my desk has been clean for more than a day, big shock but that's probably because I have only been doing digital stuff and not getting paint everywhere πŸ˜› day15 boomerang oops missed a day πŸ˜› Bunny butt!

Dogs of War by Adrian Tchaikovsky My rating: 4 of 5 stars Entertaining, fast paced, very interesting story, great sci-fi mixed with ethics that isn't boring. The only weak point in this was the main antagonist, (even tho, it can be argued that most of the human population in this world are the antagonists). They were very predictable, and not really interesting.
