A Scanner Darkly by Philip K. Dick My rating: 4 of 5 stars In typical PKD fashion, you are not reading what you think you are reading. Early Bird Gets the Worm

Image
Zazzle Shop Redbubble Shop Society6 Shop  A finished robin digital painting.  I really like how the bird turned out. They are such tiny angry birds

Throwback Thursday

Image
A rose done on drafting film from 2010. I am not a fan of drafting film, way too smooth for me, but I do like how you can put different colour paper behind it to achieve different tones with the drawing.

A Bunch of Bird Sketches

Image
A bunch of quick digital sketches of some different birds. So busy with Uni and I have had a headache for the last 5 days so it s hard to create more than sketches. Might end up colouring the puffin one, puffins are so cute it needs a bit of colour to it.

Music Monday

This week its "Cabin Fever" from Muppet Treasure Island

Digital Sketch #7

Image
I am so far behind with my digital sketches that the only way I will get the number of right pieces done for the  month as if they are all loose like this one lol I  might just end up creating loose sketches like this and colouring a few of them later when  have more time.

Digital Painting #6 Finished

Image
Zazzle Shop Redbubble Shop Society 6 Shop Finished the deer unicorn. The background might be a tad bright for some people but I like it. I was going to make it have more of a fawn pattern but gave up on that idea since it didn't look right to me.

Throwback Thursday

Image
ASnother old graphite piece of a dog from 2008. I do not remember whos dog this is lol. Probably from some random photo either I or John took one day of a cute dog.

Weekly Book Wrap Up

Radio Free Albemuth by Philip K. Dick My rating: 2 of 5 stars 2.5 stars So disjointed even for a PKD novel. You can tell it is a first draft for Valis, worth a read for fans but not one of his better stories. View all my reviews   The Divine Madness of Philip K. Dick by Kyle Arnold My rating: 3 of 5 stars Worth a read to get another perspective on the events of 2-3-74. Can be tedious at points but tries to be very thorough in what this author is trying to say about PKDs past and how it effected him as an adult and in the years before he died.
