A couple of happy birds this time lol I really like how the parrot turned out, not a lot of detailed lines but you can clearly tell what it it. I'm trying to draw a lot of birds with my left hand since I do draw or etch a lot of them with my right hand, I want to b able to at least draw them well enough they look like birds if I am stuck using my left to draw with. I forgot how hard it is to draw with my left hand lol But since I can't use my right hand to draw, I figured I better start practising with my left in case this is a long term problem. Its going to take a lot of practice to teach my left hand to draw, and I'm not going to kid myself and think I can get my left handed drawings to the same level as the right handed ones, but my sketchy/scratchy style works well for my left hand. My left hand is so tired from drawing this lol

A cute tiny little dragon for Sunday Sketches today. Keeping it very simple sketch today because every nerve in my body is flaring up , its very very painful and its probably been brought on by getting the molar yanked out. I want to turn this little dragon into a 3D dragon once I finish the current 3D dragon (which is taking forever) Bit of a pain in the ass since it means I miss a day of uni and Monday is a group project day. I don't mind group projects, I just feel bad when I can't be there due to the MS. Yes I know I can't help when it flares up, but its still not fair on the other person/people in the group. TomBow Markers on Yupo paper. This is the first time I've actually used markers on this paper and they work really well. I think so at least. With not a lot of pigment on the paper, you get pretty good colour coverage when you add water. I need to try some different markers to see how they react on the paper.

New boots, that look a lot like my last pair lol A Stanley blades, which I think I have drawn before, but not this specific one and a salad spoon, which I don't know why we have considering we don't eat salads.

Sketches #306,307 and 308. 306 is a bottle opener, 307 is a knife sharpener and 308 is a gingerbread man cutter. I sketched 308 as a blind contour drawing, so pretty happy the sketch looks like a man. I'm not as out of practice as I thought I was lol

Three sketches for today, this is  supposed to be the end of a network connector for telecomms.My hand is almost completely numb, so its a bit hard to do much with it. I think I can only type due to muscle memory and the delete key lol I figure even just making really really rough sketches will help my hand a little bit and maybe help the muscles and tendons to not get any worse. The hand is numb either because of a MS flare up from being sick, or its the start of a relapse which is odd since I just finished a course of steroids for the coughing. Time will tell what is going on. John's wallet, which I love because it has a dragon on it. I would get one for myself, but its pretty big and doesn't really fit in any of my bags. Sort of looks like a figure skate, but I def would not be skating at the moment. Would probably fall on my backside as soon as I stepped on the ice.

A quick sketch so I can make a 3D model of a unicorn. I just need the basic shapes and can build up the rest with a modeling program. Still coughing my lungs out, prob going back to the doctor because I don't think the antibiotics are doing their job.... Linking up with Sunday sketches :)

Brought to you this Sunday by John and his doodles of Sky as a Superhero with a kryptonite bone. And acting like a periscope in a ball pit lol :) He wants me to redraw them when I have time since he is the first person to say he is not an artist. But..., I do think anyone can be an artist, they just need the time to practice the skills to be one.

A donut or doughnut, how ever you spell it, donut just seems like the lazy way to spell it lol Started to work on some graphics to put on my website. Not sure if I will end up using it on my site when its finished, but can probably find something to do with it.

I decided to see what my dragon scarab looked like if I made poly art with it. Would definitely need colour correction when finished. If I decide to finish it. While I like the design, always have, it might be time to draw an updated one. I have drawn one of the dogs monkey toys before but don't think I have drawn this one. Its almost as big as her so she doesn't play with it a lot.

A fuzzy little dragon stuffed animals that I made a few years ago, but is now used as a dog toy lol I should put a squeaker in it and then she will never leave it alone. I think there were lollipops in this but now it holds pens. You can never have too many containers with pens in them, you never know when you will need one. linking up to Sunday Sketches

The start of a digital painting. Very rough sketch in painter so I have something to work on, its not the most anatomically correct bird at this stage lol I thought  green background would work nice with all the red tones in the birds feathers, but in the end if it doesn't look right, its easy enough to change.

More of the dogs toys because I can't be bothered sketching anything else at the moment.This is one of those tug floss like toys and below that, we think going by the colours, is a pheasant.

A few more Halloween dragons to go with the one I just finished. A little more angry looking dragon plus a reminder to vector some candy to go with the pumpkins.  Its not Halloween without junk food lol I don't always have to have a sketch when I use Illustrator, but I do find it helps to have at least a basic drawing so I have some kind of idea of what I want the finished design to look like. And a needle threader since I find it almost impossible to thread a needle with shaking hands.
