More of Big Blue

Better scan of the cassowary, worked a bit on it. The beak didn't have so much blue and brown on it, but I thought about adding them just so it ties the picture together. I really can't say enough how much I like the brightness of this in person. I'm trying to use as little layers as possible of coloured pencil, just as an experiment. So far it seems to be working :)

    I clicked over from your comment on my blog to check out yours. Nice work you have here! I've never seen a bird like this before. He's looking good, but he's a little rude. He keeps staring at me. LOL!

    I hope your hand feels better soon. I think every artist fears having problems with their hands or eyes.

    Thanks Stacy. The bird kept staring at me when I was taking its picture. I was really glad of the fence between us. lol

    Yeah, huge fear. Never being able to do something that you love if you lose the use of your hands. :/
