I love this month. Mostly because of Halloween. Its not just the candy that is really cheap the day after, its seeing all the cool little toys that are made to scare people :). Halloween is starting to turn into a big thing here slowly. There are now aisles in the stores that are full of Halloween costumes, candy, and Halloween themed items. Even compared to last year, its a huge jump in the amount of things available. Kinda cool. :D I have to remember to put my Halloween lights in the window and get another pumpkin to carve. They are really small compared to the ones I am used to, but better than carving a turnip (really hard on the hands I have been told).
Yeah I know its still a few weeks away but its one holiday I really love (and its our wedding anniversary). :)
I drew this card last year, but was not selling anything at the time so decided to put it up again. I have a few more Halloween themed cards to do if all goes well. :)

Don't think I am going to dress up, can't think of a costume :)
ReplyDeleteI love this entire month, because of Halloween and Thanksgiving (for us Canucks anyway). Turkey and candy, doesn't get much better than that!
ReplyDeleteI can't even fathom carving a turnip and the potential carving related accidents associated with it, better to get another pumpkin. You don't get seeds to roast from a turnip either... :p
I tried roasting seeds last Halloween, but they didn't turn out very good. Try again this year maybe. :)
ReplyDeleteI drew candy corn for Halloween a few years ago. It is quintessentially THE Hallowneen candy.
ReplyDeleteand, Snickers, and kisses, and red licorice, and caramels...
Its pretty to draw, but I can't stand the taste of it lol.
ReplyDeleteI love red licorice, but I don't think I have seen any of it here....
