Blog Might look funny

I'm trying to make the columns and post body wider like they are here. But its not working *angry face* I have a love hate relationship with any kind of coding. Half the time it doesn't work and the times it does is because I had Mr.Fuzzy help lol When I look at the code its just a jumble of letters and numbers (another reason Mr.Fuzzy think I might be dyslexic) So if the blog looks odd over the next couple of days its because I messed something up lol

(Yes I did have to fix it...again....ugh widgets...too wide and I still think blogger has horrible settings page layouts...why arent the widgets html in the blog html...its annoying!! (good for non geeks...but confusing for geeks like moi >> Mr F)

  1. I would love to figure out how to do that too. I'm so uneducated when it comes to this kind of thing.

  2. Are you using the stretch template?

It looks like you are using Minima...you'd just need to switch to minima stretch and you can add the columns with percentages...

Blog updates are like a never ending rabbit hole..

  3. @ Sandy: I had to get Mr F to do it..meh I'm an artist not a coder :P (Translation: She is Lazy >> Mr F :-P )

@ Rose: According to Mr F, he would use percentages, but my side widgets from Dawanda etc are fixed pixel size so they dissappear from view if he doesnt set explicit pixel sizes. (People need bigger monitors >> Mr F) thanks for the advice though :-D

  4. Jennifer, I feel Mr F's pain. I found the widget issue a couple of months ago...of course, you could put the widget in a post...then you just have to link to the post in the sidebar....an extra click I know, but easier than fussing with those settings! :D

    I'm a wimp...

It took me ages figuring out the HTML coding malarky, but after reading lots of tutorials and lots of trial and error, I finally got my blog to look how I like it.

Your blog is looking great so far! Love the 'Mr Angry' drawing and name too!
