A quickly drawn bear done in soft pastels on Mi-Tientes paper (Took about 20 minutes to draw). Not so much dust caused by using this paper. Not sure whether to be glad or sad that I didn't end up with rainbow sneezes :p
Rainbow sneezes....I like that term;-) Nicely done. Especially on Mi-Tientes. I find that stuff hard to use with pencils. It must be nice for pastels with such a prominent tooth in the paper.
sandra, i love using mi-tientes for coloured pencils, the smooth side though. the rough side did work pretty good with the pastels, the grooves seemed to grab at the pastel and stop so much dust from forming
thanks linda :) no its probably not very good for a persons lungs :/
thanks mary and judi :D
thanks teresa, wasn't sure if the lines would read as folds. good to know :)
thanks vee :) when ever i see your bears I want to draw a bear myself :)
My poor neglected blog! I just keep forgeting and running out of time in the day to post anything. I will try to post at least a few times a week *crossign fingers*
It's a lovely bear and I am glad there were no sneezes!!!
ReplyDeleteNice job, Jennifer!

ReplyDeleteYou did that in 20 minutes? Good job! I think you should be glad there wasn't as much dust, that can't be good for your lungs.
ReplyDeleteDelightful, Jennifer! And no sneezes, that's even better.
ReplyDelete20 minutes? Really??? You have a great eye.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I am captivated by the wonderful shapes and folds around the bear. Great use of lines!
