Wheres the fire extinguisher ?

Painting class today and things were going so well;
Nice bright colours, a sense of movement to the painting and then I went and did this;
Made a big mess :p It still needs some paint, but I should have just left it alone. meh, can always paint over everything if I really end up not liking it.

  1. Oooops...believe me, I've done that sort of thing too where a painting is coming along well and then I will go and add something that I regret. The beauty of acrylics is that I can just paint out the offending addition. Of course, you aren't finished this one yet so don't give up on it....I think it has great possibilities.

  2. Man, I know what you mean. Acrylics always do that to me because they dry so fast the offer the opportunity to add when you really should back quietly away from the painting, hehe :)

    I'm with Serena, don't give up! You can do some of your best learning from your worst mistakes :D

  6. It's acrylic, no problem. And you have a photo record; it's really worth it, go back to what works, and proceed. The 'before' is VERY strong. Go for it. It'll be great.
