Blast From the Past

So my mom is here for just over a week and I asked her to bring some of my old art, as she kept a lot of it (I would have probably had a big bonfire and smores with the flames off of the paper). So I figured people might get a laugh out of seeing what at the time I thought was great art, but looking at it now, I laugh :p

So even at the age of 12 I drew birds and horses.

The birds look like birds, but not sure what the horses look like, not horses tho :p There is quite a few more drawings to look at, so if you want a laugh, check back soon :)

yum I really want smores now....

  1. You know, for 12 years old that's not bad. At least you had the right idea when it came to horse legs so they don't look like jello. My horses had jello legs at that age, lol.

  2. are you kidding me? ....of course they are horses....just like my sister used to draw..... they look like happy carefree horses. Probably a Mommy and baby.... love it. I would frame them and keep them for sure. How great that your Mom saved them.
We don't have much left from our childhood. Although..I do have all my school report cards..in their funny art cases.... but only because I saved them at my house....

  4. I think you did a great job of drawing horses and birds, especially being 12 years old at the time.

Have a great time with your Mum while she's visiting,
