Blue Period??

Been drawing a lot of blue horses lately lol This was just done for a quick study, I want to do a bigger version with the Inktense pencils, so need to draw the image a few times to get it looking the way I want before I go bigger with it.

Not sure what to do with the background, I just put a plain red one so the horse wasn't floating in the air, but don't really like the way it looks, too simple I think.

    I think it looks like a horse from some ancient Chinese pottery, or maybe the Terracotta Warriors. It's great and I like the prancing motion.
