Blogtober #18

Supposed to be an idea for a print, don't know what kind of print, and it looks like something that is more suited to be in a colouring book. The totem pole turned out all right, but I didn't finish it. Probably sit in my sketchbook and nothing else will happen to it.

I have managed to post every day this month, so yay! :p Don't think I could post everyday the whole year, too busy with college, but at the same time college does give me stuff to talk about so it might be possible.

    I would be worth a linocut, and when you carve, it's character might change and surprise you. I really like it.

      yeahi still might make a lino cut out of it, will probably end up looking so different tho, some of the lines are really tiny and might be hard to cut.

    Congrats on posting every day this month! :) It is really difficult to do, especially when you're in college. But I certainly enjoy viewing your daily updates ;)

    Nice totem pole! I doubt I could post for a whole year either. I usually only do the Art Every Day Month in November challenge but thought I'd be extra crazy this year and do Blogtoberfest too. Crazy because my personal life is full of distractions constantly, even more so of late.

Summer of Colour #3

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
