Paper Cuts Galore

A not yet finished mask. Need more to the face, but I like the hair and the pineapple looking object on the top,(its a woven sphere left open).

One of my favourite paintings is, 'The Horse Fair', figured it was about time I studied it more, and that means doing a few quick little sketches from it. I've seen a study of the panting, and fell in love with it. I find it so interesting to see the changes that were made on the final, and can see why she changed things around.

Was supposed to have college today, but woke up and was in a lot of pain, really hard to walk :/ Its a tad frustrating because I don't want people to think I'm just skiving.

  1. Love the 'hair' on the mask.It will be interesting to see what it looks like when it is finished. Your horse sketches are great! I used to try to draw them when I was young. So hard for me to get the legs looking right.... :)

  3. Love the mask, and the energy in the horses. So I took a look at the original (link) and thought today's equivalent would be an auto show... I'd rather see the horses--they smell better too.
