To Burnish or Not to Burnish

 

Started on the beak, still need some darkening to add more of a 3D look and then I need to decide if I want to burnish the beak.

I don't burnish very often. I don't like the slick shiny look you usually get when using coloured pencils, but that effect would work for a beak....
