Well, I did want Snow....
Seems to have stopped now,about 3 inches on the ground. John went out and had to help shovel snow away from a neighbour's car tires since it got stuck coming up the hill. The hill we are on is actually very tricky, it doesn't look that steep, but cars and some trucks do have problems with even a small amount of snow. In the summer there have been a few times I have seen vehicles go rolling down the hill when the handbrake comes off and ours did it a few times before it was fixed :p

ReplyDeleteWe have about 14" of snow right now and are due to get more overnight tonight and throughout the day tomorrow. I am buckling down with a full supply of teas and a stack of licensing work to paint through :)

Deletemost of the snow we got has melted :/ best thing to do when you get that much snow, stay in and drink warm drinks :)
Wow, nice snow, we have snow forecats for this week too, on the mountains, in Summer!! We're having 19 next week, which is the same temperature as Sochi!! You should have the downhill skiing at your place!!!

ReplyDeleteWe are getting back to normal after two weeks of below freezing days. 60's for now. 50's are normal. One nice thing about the snow is it makes things feel less dark.
thanks michelle :) yeah last night it was pretty bright out :) 50 is just a bit warmer then normal right now for around here, it usually between 3c and 7c
DeleteHaha ... be careful what you wish for Jennifer! Stormy weather in Kent all day but some amazing skies and rainbows inbetween. Don't think I could cope with snow on top of all the rain.
