Sky #2
Small update today since I had a hospital appointment to get a CT scan on my jaw, (get the results June 4th), and even if the appointment is the middle of the day, somehow nothing really gets done the rest of the day. Not sure why, I think its the time it takes to get there and back and how I don't generally feel like doing anything after, even if its just a scan. It does sometimes suck how little things can leave me absolutely shattered for hours, sometimes days after, but thats just the way it is now. And I just try to get as much done when I don't feel like crap :p
This is coming along beautifully, I like how you start with the eyes first, they are the most important part to get right.
ReplyDeleteTotally understand the stamina thing - I am the same, just have to go with it, I am afraid. Hope the results are OK for your jaw!
Thanks :) I always start with the eyes (if the subject has them :p), even with an etching. if they are wrong the whole thing can go wrong :)
DeleteWhen the fatigue gets to be too much, I just go to bed and read lol probably why I get so much reading done sometimes :p
I'm with you on the middle of the day thing! Lovely work.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteThis is so beautiful. You have a magic touch. Sorry for your teeth problems. Dental work is something I truly dread. Thinking of you......
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo :) dental work is...not always easy but I am thankful its nowhere near as expensive here (often free) as it is in Canada.
DeleteYes, I find the same thing, medical appointment suck up the whole day. Damn bad health and yes, look into those, eyes, those eyes. How exciting to have a Sky piece of art. I am reading backwards through time by the way!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cindy :) yeah I wish I could have all the monthly appointments on one day, would save on parking :p and get everything over with at once. Will have to get this drawing framed if I manage not to mess it up, should look good on the wall and something to have even when she passes
DeleteYup. The eyes are everything...
ReplyDeleteI understand what you mean about wishing medical appointments could be clumped together... Hang in there!
thanks Michelle, and I think the appointments wouldn't be too bad if they were less than half an hour away to get to, and not in the city :p
