The little thing of cream I am supposed to put on my eyelid, but keep forgetting lol It is called Chloramphenicol, pretty much just wax with a bit of antibiotic in it. Stuff to use with pink eye or as John likes to call it by its actual name,Conjunctivitis even tho I don't have pink eye.

Yay for the start of summer and i will find out on Monday what is going on at Uni. My attendance has been horrible the last year. And oddly enough its not the MS causing problems. Its either my teeth breaking, chest infections knocking me on my butt, or this pain with no found cause. Its very frustrating. On to the books, well book lol   The Hippopotamus Pool by Elizabeth Peters My rating: 3 of 5 stars Another entertaining read, I'm sounding like a broken record saying that about these books, but they are. Parts are very repetitive book to book, but there is enough about Ancient Egypt thrown in to keep my interest. For Sale This month at the Virtual Paintout , the area was Sri Lanka and I decided to use pastels again since I like the look and how loose I am with them. I don't get bogged down with detail like I can with etching and I like the almost instant finished look with them.

We have had more snow the last 2 days then we had all winter lol Glad I didn't put the winter coats away. My poor flowers are probably dead and I'm glad now that we were lazy about getting the roses planted. Had the little gold piece taken out of my eyelid finally, so hopefully will be able to get glasses soon and will be able to see things clearly rather than everything being a colourful blur. Bruising isn't too bad this time, but it is only 2 stitches this time and a lot easier to take out then put in. It did help with the nerve damage for a bit, but then just started to dig in and cause my vision to get worse. Already an improvement with it gone. And I didn't forget about a sketch, here is #98. A point and shoot camera, you can never have too many cameras lol

Was supposed to be a hair clip, but the proportions are way off. The actual clip is not this long, will probably draw another clip again. Practice wont hurt.

Everyone hates mascots lol

We drink a lot of pop or soda depending on what you call it. Its sugar free so isn't that bad lol

I was in a bit of pain with my toe/foot on the weekend so took a break from drawing. Probably wont be the first time nor the last but the 365 challenge is just really to make sure I keep in the habit of sketching more than once a week :) Above is an odd little cat and what was supposed to be a candle in the shape of a witches hat, but just looks odd. And 3 chest pieces catch me up in the challenge. I keep hitting my toe/foot on things, so obs not healing and very sore to walk anywhere without wincing.Just have to make sure I don't drop anything on it.

I didn't finish anything last week, so am one book behind now :( But I have a lot of physical books I can read now, so should get caught up in no time. And its almost summer, so I am hoping we get some nice weather unlike last summer where all it did was rain. I am not buying sunscreen this year. I think I cursed the weather by buying sunscreen in the hope of a beach day lol Crash by J.G. Ballard My rating: 2 of 5 stars OK, you expect this to be an odd book considering the subject matter, people with a sexual fetish for accidents, but the book was actually boring more than odd. Parts of this were a struggle to read, not because of the very visual descriptions of sex and car accidents, but because I thought most of the story felt really forced and because of that, boring. A lot of it dragged on so it felt like it didn't go anywhere. Maybe the author is just not one for me. A very tall and skinny vase. Could really only put one flower in it and a light one at that, since a heavy one would probably tip the thing over. Reminds me of a candy apple....hmmm wonder if I could make candy apples lol

Another part of a Uni project. Packing design based on the artist we did research on. This is the front... And this is the back. I did have more on the front, but then it looked too busy so kept it simple. Maybe a bit too simple, but it is what it is :)

Broke a toe today and while its just toe, it still bloody hurts. Almost ripping the nail of didn't help either. Ack! I don't have time to be injured lol So todays sketch is a dragon since they are easy to draw. It is part of a candle holder, which I don't think I've ever used as an actual candle holder lol I've put keys in it tho.

A small little pot planter that sits on the book shelf gathering dust rather than holding a plant. Probably should put one of the smaller cacti in it, but don't want to get water on any books lol (and I'm lazy lol)

I found it actually difficult to draw a SLR in 5 minutes, glad I didn't try the DSLR, has more buttons to draw lol

I did draw one of these rollers for inktober, but that was months ago so figured it was OK to draw one again.

A ceramic dolphin that looks very evil here lol 279 sketches to go and I was starting to worry I might run out of things to sketch, but looking around again today, there is more than enough junk to draw in the house without repeating anything. Might end up sketching the dog again if I really need to, but I'm sure I could bribe her with a biscuit to sit for more than 10 secs lol
