Throwback Thursday

Kid John and his grandmother at a wedding. There are actually a few photos at different weddings were he is wearing tartan trousers. I cropped a person out of this who was smoking a cigarette (because I don't know the person). You have to love the 80's and the complete lack of concern about smoking next to kids.
A seem ripper for todays sketch. I always end up jabbing myself in the finger with these, bloody sharp little end.

  1. Oh I'd completely forgotten about these little impliments. My mum used to have one.
As to the 80's... it's like another world looking back, but in my mind it wasn't that long ago!
Enjoy your weekend and hopefully the sun between the showers might last longer than the showers. xoxo

  2. The 80's don't feel so long ago...
I have one of those seam ripper things. They are little weapons! I've damaged myself more than once....

  3. Tartan trousers. I can't laugh,. I had a pleated tartan skirt on a linen bodice, that you wore a jacket or jumper over. Sigh. Oh a Quik unpick: source of many injuries here!!!
