Weekly Book Wrap Up
ApocalyptiGirl: An Aria for the End Times by Andrew MacLean
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
The art while very rough looking, goes well with the story. The story is very basic, and could have been expanded more, a bit more info on why and what Aria was doing would have been nice. A few extra pages would not have gone amiss. Arias devotion to the cat is sweet and understandable since she has no one else to talk to but herself (which she does).
The Art of Captain America: The First Avenger by Matthew K. Manning
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I really liked this book. Lots of design art and you get to see how designs changed as the design process went on. I thought the artwork was reproduced wonderfully, nice colours and I didn't notice and problems in the reproduction being blurry or pixalated.
