Inktober #25,26,27

I have been so busy with Uni I haven't had time to post [or read blogs either :( ], but one project is pretty much done and dusted, another project is on schedule, the comic module needs a lot of work done on it this weekend, and we get another project on Monday that is due about a month from now. Plus doing my own work. I have managed to sketch everyday and now can post the really scratchy looking sketches.

A fuse insulator, an Apple computer mouse, (which looks so oddly shaped but they do look like that), and the dog's slicker brush, which reminds me that she really needs a brushing lol

Now, back to work.

    A dog brush, lower right, called a shedding rake, I think.

    Ingrid, I've always called them a slicker brush but seems they are also called shedding rakes :) its not fun being so busy lol

Summer of Colour #3

This weeks colours for The Summer of Color are 2 purples and a yellow and this is what I did with them. Not my favorite colours so really racked my brain trying to think how I could use them and which bird to use. Decided to go with a juvenile Golden Eagle since I don't have any photos of a purple bird :p I think I prefer the black background, the yellow seems to stand out more against it. Which do you prefer?
