Finished Peacock
This didn't take as long as I thought it would to dry, was dry last night. I had to darken the scan a bit since scanning the image made the peacock very light. I will use more marker next time tho, just to experiment more with the paper. I really like the results of the markers on the Yupo paper. These were water soluble markers tho, probably would work with non-soluble ones but am going to try anyway to see what happens.
I enlarged this to see it better - fabulous colors and I really I love the mottled effect
ReplyDeleteLove your experiments, especially this beautifully rich color palette.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely and beautiful bird painting!
ReplyDeletethanks Julie :) I'm going to have to add more water to the markers next time and see if there re more mottles
ReplyDeletethanks Chris :)

Very creative and colorful ~lovely creation ~
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy and Peaceful Week ~ ^_^
Love the vibrant colors and liquid-like textures. Beautiful! Thanks for last Sunday Sketches visit.
ReplyDeleteYou have really captured the essence of the peacock. At The Gorge they jump on the cafe tables and squawk and carry on spreading their tails!!
