Sketch #53 & 54


I have figured something out with my left hand drawings, if I have drawn the bird before with my right hand, I find the bird easier to draw with my left. Don't think I've drawn a Ceder Waxwing before, don't remember at least and found it harder to sketch compared to a Kingfisher, which I have drawn before and found easier to sketch with my left.

I'm sure that subjects which are more familiar to you help the brain send the appropriate signals to the hand to increase confidence in drawing.

I agree with Jeanette familiarity in the brain. I think you are just awesome for drawing with both hands.
