Scribble Picnic-Fox

This weeks theme for Scribble Picnic is fox. I decided its been too long since I have done any low poly art so thought I would for this theme. I think it looks really cute. There are foxes around here but unfortunately they are usually dead on the road :(

And a close up showing how all the coloured triangles work together to create the right shape.

  3. That is a really cool fox! I bought my self one of those sticker painting books that had a fox in it, but I think yours is so much better.

  5. Your fox is gorgeous...lovely work! I've only ever seen a couple of foxes, at different times, out on country roads...luckily, not dead, just roaming about. They're such beautiful animals.

  8. How amazing - just love it and reminds me so much of the mother fox I see in my garden.
Sad that you see them as road kill - you must be in a rural area - thankfully I've always seen our local ones trotting across the street safely - we are on a cul-de-sac and any traffic slows down to turn.

  11. I had to look up low poly art - I don't do any digital except to optimize my photos of my paintings. That looks like a lot of work. Beautiful result.

thanks Lorraine :) those books can be fun :)

    thank you Nicole :)

Serena, thank you :) they are def gorgeous animals but the farmers around here want to get rid of the hunting ban because they blame them for most livestock deaths (ravens too)

thanks Julie :) there are a few ways to do it, but it basically just making a lot of triangles

    thank you lissa :)

thanks Mary :) yep live in a rural area which is nice since we do have a lot of wildlife around but not good when cars/tractors get involved

thanks Chris :) its not that hard to create, I will see if I can find the tutorials I used and make a blog post about it :)

thanks Michael :) low poly art pretty much came out of game design :)

thank you Janis :) its not too much work, can be a little tedious at times if you want a lot of details/polys :)

    thank you Tammie :)

thanks Cindy :) i think the triangles work so well because it sort of works like an impressionist painting :) little dots of colour together to make a whole
