Sunday Sketches
Three more left handed bird sketches for this Sunday, and three birds I'd never heard of before. Above #125 is a Crested auklet, #127 is a Knob-billed duck, which is actually really pretty looking.
Below is a Masked lapwing, a very odd looking bird lol
(oops forgot to add this one earlier)

I think your bird sketches are just fantastic! Every week you make me think I should start learning to draw them. Don't know if I am brave enough to go with my non-dominant hand, but you are an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWe have those birds here. We have a lot of plovers, they are protected, but they frightened me as a child and still do a bit. I love your bird period!!!
ReplyDeletethanks Paula :) you should try a few sketches with your other hand, never know what might happen :)
ReplyDeletethanks Cindy :) they are odd looking birds to a kid with the yellow wattles
Our bird sketches are lovely! The first one looks a lot like a bird we have called the quail. And I think the third one is pretty awesome!
