Weekly Book Wrap Up

Ship of Magic (Liveship Traders, #1)Ship of Magic by Robin Hobb
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Great world building, the lands and areas, descriptions of places, descriptions of the ships is well done. Some characters were better written than others tho. Hobb seem to be better at creating worlds and some of the characters just seem to be either really big stereotypes or not thought well out when being written. I was more interested in the magic behind the liveships and the Rain Wilds and why the area does what it does than what a spoiled little kid was doing trying to piss of her parents . I did like this book but way too many plot lines to read and some were so slow and boring. Stick with the pirates and the liveships.
