Weekly Book Wrap Up
Authority by Jeff VanderMeer
My rating: 1 of 5 stars
boring boring boring :/ Too long and tedious
You don't learn anything really about Area X that you didn't know before and the "big" surprise at the end is really the only thing that happens. The main narrator is boring, the only thing that saves this book are the other characters in the book. Skip to the last 50 or so pages because the rest is forgettable.
disappointed since I enjoyed the first one so much, probably wont finish the series unless I can get the last book free from the library

Oh no, I hate it when that happens. It happened with a Barbara Hambly two book set: first one was fantasy, second one had Nazis???
