Happy Halloween!

Inktober Day 30

A Giraffe for Day 30. Missing a few spots though....

Inktober Day 28 and Day 29

Image
A Kudu for Day 28. I just love their big ears. Haven't drawn a horse for awhile, so here is one for day 29. I'm so use to using pens for drawing, it feels odd using pencils to sketch now lol

Weekly Book Wrap Up

Image
The Lost World by Arthur Conan Doyle My rating: 3 of 5 stars Entertaining, but predictable. Full of characters that are huge stereotypes, but that works for this novels adventures.. The young nervous doing it for love type. The shoot at everything that moves type but with a heart of gold. The scientist that is ridiculed by his peers, wants to prove everyone wrong and gets mad and aggressive to the people that don't believe him. Its amusing to see all the characters interact actually since they are such stereotypes written to the extreme. Inktober Day 27

Image
Todays prompt from the list I am using was an ecstatic hand. I had no idea what to draw for that prompt so drew an ecstatic dog instead. Of course I ran out of space on the paper, which is why you should prepare more when drawing where things need to go. And yes, Sky's tongue is really long. I'm surprised she doesn't bite it more often.

Inktober Day 26

A happy witch for todays prompt. Very quick sketch, about 10 minutes for everything to be drawn and coloured. Gave her a pointy chin and would have added some warts for the stereotypical with look people think of. Would have spent longer on it, but I'm in a bit of pain after getting a tooth pulled out. Two root canals but ended up getting the tooth pulled anyway and my dentist does not know why it  hurt so much. Its not cracked or chipped. Pen lid for size comparison. Really long tooth lol and he actually ground about 3 mm off the other day so it was even longer.

Inktober Day 24 and Day 25

Image
Day 24, a clever spider. Maybe just graduated? Day 25, a demanding hat. I thought of all the stuff in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland that had little tags on them telling her what to do. I had a root canal redone yesterday so I didn't really feel like drawing so drew both of these today, still counts as a drawing for everyday for October. I think the tooth is going to have to be pulled, so I might be missing an eye tooth and talking with a lisp for awhile.

Inktober Day 23

Image
For today I decided to just sketch a dragon since I haven't done one yet for Inktober this year. Just the head since its a tiny sketchbook and I wish I had of used better paper so the blue markers would have blended better together. Just adding lots of cross hatching with the pen by using a light hand and a very quick strokes.

Inktober Days 21 and Day 22

Day 21 prompt was appreciated mushroom. I had no idea what to draw for this one since I don't like mushrooms lol I use to draw quick little things like this all the time, very popular in high school, probably due to all the stoners that went there. A calm clown for day 22. He does look pretty bored for a clown. Very quick line work for this. I just wanted him to look very round and squishy.
