Aardvarks! Aardvarks are cool :D So ugly they are cute lol For this weeks Flickr Faves I have decided to start a theme within a meme. Using all the letters of the alphabet I will make a mosaic of animals starting with the next letter. The aardvarks that I sent away for last month showed up. I think I am going to turn one into a highland cow, shaggy and with horns. Not sure about the other one. I was thinking a peacock, bright feathers. Not sure though. I want to take pictures of them in various places around town, but everyone is telling me that I will get some weird looks if I do. That doesn't bug me though, I get weird looks as soon as I open my mouth. I need to go to a fabric store and get some brown furry fabric, and while I am there I need to see if I can get some bright green fuzzy fabric. I really want to sew a bag, and need the green fabric as a trim and for the strap. Of course that means I need to get a sewing machine, so have to look around to see if there are any on sale. I found this link http://aardvarkproject.com/ while reading another blog. Its a neat idea and I ordered 2 of them. Whether or not they get shipped here, time will tell (and I haven't gotten an email saying they wouldn't ship them here), but it didn't cost me anything so I have nothing to lose. Not sure what I should do with them if they show up. Thought about turning one of them into a dragon aardvark, I have some sculpey laying around that I could use to do that. Or I could just paint it, but not sure what to paint (tie-dyed aardvark??). I guess I have time to figure out what to do with them.
