Tuna 1 Toe 0

Poured rain down again today :/ And now I have another broken toe to add to the growing list :p And its def. broken as I can't put any weight on it. So maybe a short walk tomorrow if its not raining (I'm hoping it stops, I need to go to the library. I'm running out of books to read. Seems stupid to take the car for a half mile trip).

So for todays picture here is one of our bookshelves (of 3 [and in a small flat that is a lot of space] and more books on the floor :p). Lots of these came from when Mr.Fuzzy was working at a book store and they had a big box of proofs that people could take.

And here is the dragon and me for size reference. I'm just over 5 foot 4 so its pretty big. But it would still fit in the yard (just :p) And I wore those boots under my wedding dress :D No way I was wearing heels to walk across dad's front lawn. My hair isn't that long any more but its getting there. I love that coat (doesn't fit at the moment though :/). Not sure how old it is, can't seem to find a lot of info about the maker but its at least 30 years old. (the tag says Highway Suede and Leatherwear made in/for England)

Yuor bookcase is so interesting not only the book titles but all the different items being stored there, that dragon is awesome, how cool he is! I missed your post yesterday so I left a comment today and hope it went through.

  2. I absolutely love looking over other people's bookshelves -- I'm so glad you thought of it! (Are you going to finish the Twilight series??) The dragon is much bigger than I thought at first. He really is an amazing creation.

  5. OUCH on the broken toe....I broke mine a couple of months ago...the bruising was so bad and it still hurts a little if I push the toe a certain way.

You wore those chunky boots under your wedding dress?! Trendy!

I have heaps of books too. I'm up to the third book in the Twilight series but I have to wait on my daughter and then her boyfriend to read it first before my turn comes around.

  6. Thanks Kerry :) with space at a premium, the shelves here hold all kinds of things :)

Judi- Unless the library gets the fourth book, I'm not going to finish the series. I know how it ends and thats partly why I'm not going to buy it :/ Complete disappointment in how it ends.

    Thanks Vic :D

lol I opened a lower kitchen cupboard and the 2 tuna cans fall onto my foot :/ the air turned blue (well bluer then normal :p). I like having long hair but I never do anything but braid it or put it in pigtails. I got a perm for the wedding which I really liked, so maybe once its back to being long enough to reach my butt I will perm it again.

Its odd the toe isn't bruised but its swollen where it was hit and pretty red. I'm actually amazed it isn't bruised, I bruise like a peach. You couldn't really see them unless I picked the skirt up (so I don't know why everyone was pissed off that I was going to wear them [except hubby and dad who bought me the boots :)]) They are a quick red so you shouldn't have that long to wait :)

  9. Sorry about your toe, I know that's painful. Hope it heals soon.
Seeing the dragon with people (and you) gives me a greater appreciation for the size of him...very impressive creature!
