Small Art Update

Copyright Jennifer Rose Phillip

Small update on the dragon. Started to fill in the wings, and then will move on to the tail feathers :) hmm still needs a bit more purple on the dragon itself since there will be some purples in the feathers, and I think it would look better with similar colours, and help with the snake colouring I was going for.

  2. Do you always work like this - finishing small sections before moving on? I have never before seen anyone draw/paint this way. I'll have to try it some time. Looking good Jennifer.

  4. Oh such detail. Love it. Do you find yourself going into a zone and loose track of time?

  11. thanks sandy and serena :)

judi, I usually work by finishing small sections at a time, unless I really want a soft look. then I tend to work on the whole thing at once so things shade better together :)

    thanks cindy :)

    thank you treesa :)

toni, I do go into a zone when doing this. I remember reading a blog post awhile ago asking artists if the same thing happened to them. Was interesting reading how many people do go into almost a trance when working :)

    thanks linda and mary:)

    thank for watching sandra :)

    thanks chrissy :)

ingrid, I don't think its patience, maybe stupid for trying to colour this lol

    thanks jennifer :)
