April Fools Day

I hate this day :/ Not just because it was the day I was told my dog had died, but because some people use it as an excuse to do mean tricks on people. Whats wrong with your simple woopie cushion on the chair? or chalk stuck in the chalkboard dusters? or gum that turns your mouth blue? :p none of which I've ever done. Of course not.... :p (hmmm the gum probably was toxic, I don't think people use chalkboards anymore, and can you get woopie cushions anymore?)

One of the few pics of Loch that I have. I wish I had of had a digital camera back then, would have had hundreds of photos. So because we have one now, I am taking pics of Sky all the time. I think she is starting to think of ways to sabotage the camera so I will stop pointing it at her. (I'm sure that is why she was trying to dig a hole in the back. To sneak the camera away...I hope it was the camera and not a body o.0 )

It is a sad day then, your dog, Loch, looks lovely. I only had 20 photos of Peri before I got a digital camera. Now I ahve more photos than you can poke a stick at. I snap away all the time. Lucky Sky!!

Yes, Loch looks like a real sweetheart. I am so glad that you have Sky now. I don't get the humor in picking on people either, April Fool's day or not, making fun of others just isn't funny to me. Keep sharing pics of Sky! I love seeing them :-)

Jennifer sorry to hear that you don't like this day. Keep your focus on Sky and make it a good day.

I never saw the fun in jokes that make fun of people on April Fools day.
It is so sad that your dog died on a day like this. A long time ago I hope.
Meanwhile how is sky coming along with your training?

It is sad that it's the day you found out about your dog dying. What a lovely looking doggy Loch was.

April Fool's Day is my brother's birthday so I love it for that reason although we've never done mean tricks on April Fool's Day...just light-hearted, simple and fun ones that we all have a good laugh over. Nobody's feelings ever get hurt. I wouldn't see the sense to mean or nasty tricks either.

Btw, I think Cody feels the same way about my camera. Digital cameras have certainly made life easier and I have tons of pics now.

When I was younger, I got knocked down by a car on April Fools day. It always reminds me to be careful! Hope your day wasn't so bad and you didn't feel too sad.
I think it is great to take lots of pics... Sky will get used to the camera ;-)

Loch looked like a beautiful dog!

One of my kids got a woopie cushion as a party favour. She liked to sit on it herself. I dunno.

It was the same with my childhood cat - all my cats. I only have one of each.
My current cat matches my husband - they are the same in hair/fur colour - so I have tonnes of pics of them!

LOL! And let's hope it is the camera that is buried! :-)

cindy, i love seeing all your photos of the girls :D

ann, i don't see the point either, its a waste of energy

toni, i spent the day playing in the backyard with her and trying to teach her to shake (didn't work lol)

mary jane, it was a few years ago, and it probably shouldn't still bug me, but it does. sky is a quick learner, but we are having problems with her wanting to chase cars. we have a dog trainer coming to the house this week to see is she can help us with that :)

serena, loch was just a big goof, always trying to herd things lol fun tricks are ok :)

shashi, thanks :)

chrissy, ouch! I'm sensing a theme lately ;) as long as I remember to turn the flash off, she seems to be all right with it. if I forget, I get this evil look lol

sandra, he was :) and really soft. lol, well it would be funny to see the look on other people's faces when she did that

michelle, lol, some people would say that if your husband starts losing hair, he could use the cat as a toupee ;)

sandy, happy easter to you too!! I am so behind as well, feel bad about not commenting as much as I use to.
