Loch Ness
So its a bit of a drive to get there, but its really pretty (even if I did fall asleep half way there)
Very odd looking place to stay. Can't figure out if its futuristic looking or just tacky :p
And Loch Ness itself. No sign of any monsters yet.......
None the other direction either. hmm maybe should have brought better bait then the dog.
And the driving along the loch you come to Urquart Castle. I actually didn't realize how big the ruins of the castle are, I thought it was just the ruins of a tower and that was it.
We took a lot of photos, so still have to go through them, more scenic post to come :) and some art in the future from the area. The landscape has really inspired me to paint, so many colours everywhere that I need to put down on canvas.

ReplyDeleteIt looks exactly like the day here today!! Synchronised nice sunny weather at opposite ends of the world. Sky was very well behaved too!! Nice to get some arty inspiration too!!
