Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Actually, no. No more snow. I am sick of falling on my butt and dealing with the cold. It was great when it first snowed, but enough is enough. Of course when it is nice and hot out, I will probably get sick of that too :p I use to wonder why people talked so much about the weather here, but now I don't. I do it myself now :p
About another 1.5 hours of work later.... A few more petals coloured but when they are all done, I will still have to go back over them to darken the values and push the petals in the back to the back with some blues. Will probably darken the green background as well, as I think its a bit too light right now.

I've been debating whether or not to try and apply to Uni again. I did actually have a place last year but certain things happened and I ended up not going. The only problem this year is that the application requires a reference that isn't a friend or family member, I don't have one. I don't have a teacher this year that could be a reference, nor do I have an employer and I don't go to church, so I can not think of anyone who could possibly be a reference :/ ugh, kind of annoying actually. I understand why references are needed, but it can be hard getting one when you are self employed.

  1. It looks like a scene from Dickens!!! You are on the way out of Winter and going towards Spring: be hopeful!! Here, the weather is a constant topic of conversation, we are obsessed with it.
It is very difficult to find a referee in your situation. When I was teaching, I was allowed to be a passport photo/form person. Often teachers are the only people, apart from close family and friends, who have known a child or even a family new to he district for more than a few years. Oh the power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
