Avert Your eyes....

nekkid people abound :p
Not that there really is anything to see. My life drawings are very sketchy when I use ink.
Trying to get the foreshortening of that damn bent leg was driving me nuts. Still not right, but better than the first time I tried lol
The standing pose I found easy, but there isn't any odd angles or really any foreshortening to deal with. Foreshortening is my evil nemesis when it comes to people :/
And hands. Really need to practice hands. Good thing I can draw from mine because I need the practice. Does make me wish I still had the extra finger. Would have made some neat drawings :p

  1. I love the look on Sky's face "Mom what are you doing?!" Good luck with your people drawing!

  2. Thank goodness Foreshortening is your only Nemesis. One doesn't want too many Nemeses.
Look at Sky, she is so cute and helpful and definitely NOT looking at the nekkid people!!
Great sketches and good luck with the foreshortening.

  6. Foreshortening is EVERYBODIES nemesis. We have a great model and she drives us batty as she is famous for her 'pretzel' poses. Sometimes, when she poses, one of the artists will groan. Then she asks, is that too hard? And we always say, nope, we're here to learn.
Your foreshortening looks good to me.
PS. Sometimes I use a cheater, a clear plastic with a grid on it. If you look through with one eye, it helps just a tad with placement.
