Fuzzydragons

Day #2. I really need to practice drawing glass, so thought I would start with a simple sketch and if I have time in the future, either paint glass or use pastels since they can be pretty forgiving.

I am going to try to draw one thing everyday for 365 days. I might not finish, but its worth a try and will be good practice. I am going to set a 5 minute time limit so that means I will have to focus on the main shapes to get a sketch done. They might not all be good sketches, some might be garbage, but I will still post them.

Pointillism horses from 2003. Almost finished, but as usual I stopped working on this for some reason. I love doing pointillism, but it can take forever to put all those dots down. Its another art form I would love to get back to, but so many things to do, but so little time :p

So this is the Harris Hawk finished without the pen added to it. Looks OK, maybe a little unfinished to me, but just incase I messed up before taking pen to it I decided to be safe and scan it. Prints For Sale  And after the pen lines. I think this worked well, helped to make the work look finished. And a simple GIF showing the difference.

The last of my toys in this room, now to sketch the dog's toys which are everywhere but that means she has lots of choice and doesn't get bored like a lot of Border Collies can and start chewing on furniture.

Horton from Horton hears a Who. Didn't even know I had this until I went searching for Winnie the Pooh, which I found behind the futon lol

A sock monkey! A pink leopard spotted one actually, but I ran out of time to draw the spots :p

John's owl from his Uni graduation. Sits on a book shelf surrounded by dragons and shot glasses lol

Another Eeyore :) 3 or 4 left I could draw if I can't find any other toys to sketch. There is a Winnie the Pooh around too if I can find him under the pile of books lol

Found the Tigger toy. Stashed away on the top of the bookshelf, hidden by dusty cameras :p

Another bear, supposed to be a Polar Bear this time. Got this from John when he worked at Borders when it was in Dundee. Not the cheapest place to buy books, but it was a really nice store to kill time in and look at all the books.

Little Miss Daredevil with a crash helmet :p  Does she fall over a lot because she wears high heels?? :p

I have a lot of Eeyore toys so this will probably not be the first appearance of one :)

I can't draw robots to save my life, but here is the little one John had as a kid. Still works, just missing a few little parts, but what do you expect from a toy over 20 years old :p I found another Mr.Men toy well its a Little Miss toy, still can't find Mr.Grumpy. Hopefully the dog didn't eat it.

Mr. Tickle :) I have a few more Mr.Men somewhere but I can't find them. I will have to have a search this weekend, must be on a shelf somewhere (crosses fingers).

Mr.Happy! :) His cheeks light up when you squeeze him :p Still have more toys to draw, and I could use the big stuffed toys I have to, even tho they are not on my desk. But, meh, sill give me more thing to sketch :)

Day #5 and its the little squirrel I modified for Uni last year, which was just too cute to get rid of.
