Little Doped Up

So none of the pain meds that I had were working, so I haven't been sleeping :/ Phoned the Drs, but her suggestion was to take meds that I told her I can't take, but no matter what I said she wouldn't listen. I was starting to get a little pissed off on the phone. Mr.F ended up phoning haematology at the hospital to ask them what I can take without effecting my bleeding disorder. The options were either Tramadol or oral morphine o.0

Thankfully talked to a different Dr who did prescribe me Tramadol, which thankfully is working so I might get some sleep tonight.  *crosses fingers*

It might have been minor surgery but its not the smallest cut and its probably about half a centimetre deep. The nurse had to cauterize some blood vessels. Not exactly the best smell :/

I was going to post a pic of the cut here, but didn't want to gross everyone out :p So if anyone wants to go eww click here :p

  1. OH NO...I'm sorry you're in such a bad way. I hope you get some sleep and the suture wound heals up quickly.

  2. Hope the meds have kicked in and you are feeling a lot better by now.
I had a 'mole' cut out my back once, turned out to be a freckle...oh well better safe than sorry later.

  3. Now ... why did I have to follow your link ... I'm a squeamish person who can't stand blood, veins, needles etc. But at least its neatly stitched!

I hope the new meds kick in quickly - bad enough feeling sore but not being able to sleep is the pits.

Can you take alcohol with the meds ... a couple of brandies might knock you out:-)

  7. Tramadol does exactly nothing for me but I am glad it works for you. Nice stitching and it looks like a nice cut that will heal well. I hope the pain goes away and you feel well soon, Why is it that doctors won't trust that many patients do know what is going on???
