Playing with Clay

And now the fun starts, adding bumps and the eyes :) The eyes are buttons I had, but they work perfect for this :D

I had never used air dry clay before, so wasn't really sure if it would work with the mask, it still might not and I will go to college on Friday to find this in pieces :p The clay worked pretty well, I was worried that it would dry too fast and I wouldn't be able to work fast enough with it, but it stayed wet for about an hour before it started to dry up. will def. use it again when I can't use a kiln to fire clay.
And a side view so people can see the texture a little better. Not sure what colours to paint this when its dry, colours that go with peacock feathers probably.

  5. Air dry clay should work with papier maché. Something called 'paperclay" would be even better. I can't wait to see where you take this! It looks like fun!
