Flamingo #1

2 of 5 birds roughly etched :) This is going to be a long piece, but not very tall so I am crossing my fingers the composition will work. I can already see I need some more shading on the birds to make them look a little more round, but will finish the rest of the birds before I do that.

And of course it has been raining off and on all day so it is a good thing we didn't go to the Highland Show, would have been drenched again.

    This is going to be an interesting piece .. I love how flamingoes rest like this. You don't want to know that the weather is sunny and warm here in Whitstable (at the moment)... bound to rain tomorrow though as we have a 'Fun Show' by the beach tomorrow

    Oh how fun! I always keep thinking I want to draw some flamingos, I love their beaks and necks.

    I live the idea! Great so far... Ok. I'll go with it. Awesome you didn't go to the Highland Games. There'd be one less beautiful piece of art in the world...
